Salmonella - Controls
The control antigens are used to check the agglutinability of the sifin Anti-Salmonella test reagents and for quality control when carrying out the slide agglutination test.
Principle of the test
Agglutination using an antigen-antibody reaction between specific Salmonella antibodies and control antigens of characterised Salmonella serovars.
Based on the given antigenic formula of the control antigens select the appropriate control that will allow QC of each of the individual sera under test. Certificates of Analysis are available on request for all Sifin anti-sera.
