Plasma 2x Human Tech, DNA Free Set

Design your own plasma from scratch! You will receive 2-fold concentrated plasma (human-tech) and the corresponding dilution buffer.

"Plasma 2x (human-tech) DNA free" is human recreated DNA free plasma.

It contains everything what human plasma contains after a blood draw and plasma separation in a clinical situation. Human proteins in common plasma concentrations, Electrolytes and EDTA. 

EDTA concentration in all plasma products complies with the recommendations of ICSH (International Council Society of Haematology) and the CLSI (Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute) for EDTA in blood collection tubes.

 

Recommended use:
1. As No Template Control (NTC)
2. For spike-in experiments with individual cfDNA / ctDNA

Plasma 2x (human-tech) DNA free

Kit contains:

  • 1 unit of SID-000005 3.0 ml human Plasma 2x (human-tech) DNA Free Dilution Buffer
  • 1 unit of SID-000001 2.5ml human Plasma 2x (human-tech) DNA Free

Proteins:
100 mg/ml (final concentration: 50 mg/ml; in blood: 60-80 mg/ml)

Electrolytes:
Na+; K+; Ca2+; Cl–; PO43-

EDTA:
1.42 mg/ml

Storage:
2-8 °C

Expiration:
stable for 24 months from date of manufacture (as supplied)

DNA Quantification:
1. Human residual DNA testing (according to ISO17025)
2. Fragment analysis (High Sensitivity DNA Kit Agilent)
